SERN is a membership organization of
local governments and
community-based organizations that have an interest in
improving performance measurement and
accountability in government. SERN seeks to facilitate these groups
working together and sharing information on best practices in developing and measuring indicators of government performance.
We believe that effective performance measurement:- Increases the transparency of local government by demonstrating the effective use of government resources
- Enhances the accountability of local government programs and services
- Increases engagement by helping to inform citizens about the issues and services in their community
Who We Are:
Members of SERN include both local government officials and noprofit organizations that use data to measure and evaluate the performance of government entities in their cities and towns.
